1. Mark
   By the time we arrived, it had completely darkened. The storm outside was the most extreme one I have ever seen.

   আমরা পৌঁছানোর সময় চারপাশ পুরো অন্ধকার হয়ে গিয়েছিল। বাইরে যে ঝড় ছিল, আমি আগে কখনো তত প্রবল দেখিনি।

2. Jenny
   In her eyes, it was the most original idea ever. She had been planning the surprise for weeks.

   তার কাছে এটা সবচেয়ে মৌলিক ধারণা মনে হচ্ছিল। সে কয়েক সপ্তাহ ধরে ওই সারপ্রাইজের পরিকল্পনা করছিল।

   They had fried the fish before everyone arrived at the dinner. The smell was unusual but pleasant.

   তারা সবাই ডিনারে আসার আগে মাছ ভাজা করে ফেলেছিল। গন্ধটি অদ্ভুত ছিল, কিন্তু মনোরম ছিল।

   That sounds wonderful. Did you taste the special sauce that the chef had prepared?

   চমৎকার শোনাচ্ছে। তুমি কি শেফ যে বিশেষ সসটা তৈরি করেছিলেন তা চেখে দেখেছ?

   Yes, it was absolutely fantastic. The flavour was so unusual that I asked for the recipe.

   হ্যাঁ, এটা একেবারে দুর্দান্ত ছিল। স্বাদটা এত অনন্য ছিল যে আমি রেসিপি চেয়েছিলাম।

   I love trying ordinary dishes made in extraordinary ways. It feels like an adventure for the senses.

   Have you ever tried an extreme sport? My cousin has been doing snowboarding for years.

   তুমি কি কখনো কোনো এক্সট্রিম খেলা চেষ্টা করেছ? আমার এক আত্মীয় বহু বছর ধরে স্নোবোর্ডিং করে।

   I tried surfing once on holiday. The waves were so high that I felt frightened at first.

   ছুটিতে একবার আমি সার্ফিং করার চেষ্টা করেছিলাম। ঢেউগুলো এত উঁচু ছিল যে শুরুতে আমি ভয় পেয়েছিলাম।

   That sounds amazing. If I had more courage, I would try diving in the ocean.

   এটা দুর্দান্ত শোনায়। যদি আমার আরও সাহস থাকত, আমি সমুদ্রে ডাইভিং করে দেখতে চাইতাম।

    You should. The scenery under the water is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

    তুমি অবশ্যই করো। পানির নিচের দৃশ্য আমি যে কোনও কিছুতে দেখেছি তার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে সুন্দর।

11. Mark
    Maybe next summer we can go together. It would be the most original holiday I have ever taken.
