Ayşe ve A'dan E'ye

1. Gece sakin.

   The night is calm.

2. Ayşe yatak odasında.

   Ayşe is in the bedroom.

3. Ayşe'nin bir harf kitabı var, ve masada küçük bir lamba var.

   Ayşe has an alphabet book, and there is a small lamp on the table.

4. Ayşe fısıldar: 'Ben A'dan E'ye kadar söyleyebilirim.'

   Ayşe whispers, "I can say from A to E."

5. Bu A, bu B, bu C, bu D, bu E.

   This is A, this is B, this is C, this is D, this is E.

6. Ayşe harfleri yavaşça söyler.

   Ayşe slowly says the letters.

7. Ama B ile D karışır ve Ayşe durur.

   But B and D get mixed up and Ayşe stops.

8. O biraz şaşırır.

   He is a bit surprised.

9. Annesi Elif gülümser ve yanına oturur.

   Her mother Elif smiles and sits down beside her.

10. Elif parmağıyla havaya yazar ve yavaşça söyler: 'Bu B, bu D.'

    Elif writes in the air with her finger and says slowly, 'This is B, this is D.'

11. Ayşe dikkatle bakar ve tekrar eder: 'B, D.'

    Ayşe looks carefully and repeats, "B, D."

12. Şimdi B ve D karışmaz; Ayşe gülümser ve kitabını kapatır.

    Now B and D don't get mixed up; Ayşe smiles and closes her book.

13. Lamba sıcak ışık verir, Ayşe gözlerini kapatır ve yavaşça uyur.

    The lamp gives warm light, Ayşe closes her eyes and slowly falls asleep.
