La semaine d’Inès

  1. Le soir est calme dans la chambre d'Inès.

    The evening is quiet in Inès's room.

  2. Sur le mur, il y a un petit calendrier.

    On the wall, there is a small calendar.

  3. Inès sourit et chuchote: "Je fais un plan pour la semaine."

    Inès smiles and whispers, 'I'm making a plan for the week.'

  4. Elle pointe les jours: lundi, mardi, mercredi, jeudi, vendredi, samedi, dimanche.

    She points to the days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

  5. Mais elle confond mardi et jeudi et elle n'est pas sûre.

    But she confuses Tuesday and Thursday and she is not sure.

  6. "Demain, c'est lundi... ou jeudi ?", pense Inès.

    They read slowly: Monday for drawing, Tuesday for dance, Wednesday for quiet play.

  11. Puis, ils disent: jeudi pour le livre, vendredi pour la chanson, samedi pour le parc, dimanche pour le repos.

    Then they say: Thursday for the book, Friday for the song, Saturday for the park, Sunday for rest.

  12. Inès répète sans se tromper et elle est tranquille maintenant.

    Inès repeats without making a mistake and she is calm now.

  13. Elle bâille, ferme les yeux, et sourit.

    She yawns, closes her eyes, and smiles.

  14. "Demain, je vais coller une petite étoile sur lundi", dit-elle doucement.

    "Tomorrow I'll put a little star on Monday," she says softly.
