Noé et les amis de la mer

1. Sur la plage, au bord de la mer, Noé sourit.

   On the beach, by the sea, Noé smiles.

2. Léa est avec lui, et Milo, un chien, remue la queue.

   Léa is with him, and Milo, a dog, wags his tail.

3. Je veux voir des amis de l’eau, dit Noé doucement.

   I want to see my friends from the water, says Noé softly.

4. Regarde, il y a un oiseau dans le ciel.

   Look, there's a bird in the sky.

5. Plus loin, un grand navire passe lentement sur l’eau.

   Further away, a big ship slowly passes on the water.

6. Noé a un seau jaune, et il attend calmement.

   Noé has a yellow bucket, and he is waiting calmly.

7. Il cherche longtemps, mais l’eau est claire et vide.

   He looks for a long time, but the water is clear and empty.

8. Milo aboie, et l’oiseau s’en va, et Noé n’est pas content.

   Milo barks, the bird flies away, and Noé is not happy.

9. Léa chuchote: On peut être calmes, et on regarde encore.

    Noé whispers, "Thank you, sea," and he laughs. Milo is calm, and the bird comes back.
