Lily Checks the Facts

1. It is morning in Lily's classroom.

   إنه صباح في صف ليلي.

2. Lily wants to get the right mark in a small quiz.

   ليلي تريد أن تحصل على الدرجة الصحيحة في اختبار صغير.

3. Ms. Anna holds a red card and smiles.

   تمسك السيدة آنا بطاقة حمراء وتبتسم.

4. There is a big question on the board.

   هناك سؤال كبير على السبورة.

5. Lily sits with her friend Tom, and they listen.

   ليلي تجلس مع صديقها توم وهما يستمعان.

6. "What is the first question?" Lily whispers.

   «ما هو السؤال الأول؟» تهمس ليلي.

7. The sentence says, "An apple on the desk is red," and Lily writes her answer on a small paper.

   الجملة تقول: «تفاحة على المكتب حمراء»، وليلي تكتب إجابةها على ورقة صغيرة.

8. She is not sure, so she asks, "Is this right?"
