Sam and the Quiet Toy Parade

  1. Sam sits on his bed in his room at night, and he wants his bear.

    سام يجلس على سريره في غرفته ليلاً، ويريد دُبّه.

  2. "Where is it?" he says softly.

    «أين هو؟» يقول بهدوء.

  3. There is a toy box by the bed.

    هناك صندوق ألعاب بجانب السرير.

  4. "This shadow looks big," says Lily.

    هذا الظل يبدو كبيرًا، تقول ليلي.

  5. It is under the bed, but Mom smiles.

    إنه تحت السرير، ولكن الأم تبتسم.

  6. "Maybe it is a monster," Lily whispers.

    تهمس ليلي: «ربما إنه وحش.»

  7. Mom opens the box, and they look inside.

  8. They take out a dog, a cat, and a mouse.

  9. The shadow is still there.

  11. There are more little friends; they are all animal toys.

  16. At the bottom of the box, there is Sam's bear, hiding under the last book.
