If you abandon your responsibilities now, the entire project will collapse within weeks. Surely you recognise that.

إذا تخلّيت عن مسؤولياتك الآن، سيتداعى المشروع بأكمله خلال أسابيع. لا بد أنك تدرك ذلك.

I'm not abandoning anything, Felix. I'm simply refusing to be held accountable for decisions that were imposed on me without consultation.

أنا لا أتنازل عن أي شيء، يا فيليكس. أنا ببساطة أرفض أن أتحمّل مسؤولية قرارات فُرضت عليّ دون استشارة.

That may be so, yet the consequences of your withdrawal will affect dozens of colleagues who had nothing to do with those decisions.

قد يكون ذلك صحيحًا، لكن عواقب انسحابك ستؤثر على عشرات الزملاء الذين ليس لهم علاقة بتلك القرارات.

I appreciate the dilemma, but every action provokes a reaction. If management refuses to listen, eventually something must give.

Agreed in principle. However, dramatic gestures tend to provoke equally dramatic backlash, and rarely produce the change one hopes for.

True, but escalation carries risks. Once tensions erupt openly, they're remarkably difficult to contain.

I won't deny the danger. Nevertheless, inaction also carries hidden costs that are seldom acknowledged.

That's the dilemma, isn't it? Both action and inaction generate consequences that ripple far beyond the original decision.

Precisely. Which is why I've been agonizing over this for weeks. Whatever I choose, someone will bear the cost.
