Sakin Sokakta Gece Yolculuğu

1. Ada bu gece bir için çok heyecanlı.

   Ada is very excited tonight.

2. Yarın uçağa binmek için havaalanına gidecekler.

   They will go to the airport tomorrow to board the plane.

3. Ada ve annesi Elif, evin önünde küçük valizle bekler.

   Ada and her mother, Elif, wait in front of the house with a small suitcase.

4. Sokak sakindir.

   The street is quiet.

5. Sokakta bir lamba var.

   There is a lamp on the street.

6. Köşede kırmızı bir araba durur ve Ada farlarını sayar.

   A red car stops at the corner and Ada counts its headlights.

7. Ama taksi henüz gelmez ve küçük bir sorun olur.

   But the taxi hasn't come yet and there is a small problem.

8. Elif gülümser ve "Kısa bir yürüyüş yapalım" der.

   Elif smiles and says, 'Let's take a short walk.'

9. İkisi yavaşça yan yana yürür ve Ada beklemeyi sever.

   They walk slowly side by side, and Ada likes to wait.

10. O anda şoför Ali arar ve "Beş dakika sonra oradayım, yardım edebilirim" der.

    At that moment the driver Ali calls and says, 'I'll be there in five minutes, I can help.'

11. Az sonra sarı taksi gelir, Ali el sallar, Ada da gülümser.

    Soon a yellow taxi arrives, Ali waves, and Ada smiles.

12. Ada ve Elif taksiye biner, valizi tutar ve sokaklarına el sallar.

    Ada and Elif get into a taxi, hold the suitcase, and wave to the people on the street.

13. Gece sakindir ve yolculuk güzel başlar.

    The night is calm and the journey starts nicely.
