Mehmet'in Renkli Gecesi

1. Akşam olur, Mehmet uyumadan önce bir resim yapmak ister.

   In the evening, Mehmet wants to draw a picture before he goes to sleep.

2. Odasında küçük masasında bir kutu boya kalemi var.

   There is a box of colored pencils on the small desk in the room.

3. Ablası Elif odaya gelir ve gülümser.

   Her sister Elif comes into the room and smiles.

4. Mehmet bir gökkuşağı çizmek ister, ama kutudaki renkler karışıktır.

   He wants to draw a rainbow, but the colors in the box are mixed up.

5. "O hangisini önce alayım?" der Mehmet.

   "Which one should I take first?" Mehmet asks.

6. Anne Ayşe kapıdan bakar ve "Sakin ol," der.

   Mother Ayşe looks in the doorway and says, "Stay calm."

7. Mehmet önce siyah kalemi bulur ve kenara koyar.

   Mehmet first finds the black pen and puts it aside.

8. Sonra kırmızı ve mavi kalemleri alır, çizgide bir kalp ve bir deniz yapar.

   Then they take the red and blue pens and draw a heart and a sea on the line.

9. Elif, "Yeşil otu unutma," der ve küçük yapraklar çizer.

   Elif says, 'Don't forget the green grass,' and draws small leaves.

10. Mehmet sarı bir güneş ekler, turuncu ışınlar çizer.

    Mehmet adds a yellow sun and draws orange rays.

    The little teddy on the table looks brown and very cute.
