Pauls kleine Wohnzimmer-Reise

1. Es ist Abend, und Paul sitzt im Wohnzimmer mit Mama Anna.

   It is evening, and Paul is sitting in the living room with his mom Anna.

2. Paul sagt: "Ich will heute eine kleine Reise machen."

   Paul says, "I want to take a little trip today."

3. Mama lächelt und sagt: "Dann bauen wir unsere Stadt hier."

   Mom smiles and says, 'Then we'll build our town here.'

4. Sie klebt mit Band eine Straße auf den Teppich.

   She tapes a road onto the carpet.

5. Paul malt ein Schild: "Flughafen", und stellt es neben die Tür.

   Paul paints a sign that says "Airport" and puts it next to the door.

6. "Wo ist das Auto?" fragt Paul.

   "Where is the car?" asks Paul.

7. Sie suchen lange, aber sie finden es nicht.

   They look for a long time, but they can't find it.

8. "Wir können zuerst langsam gehen," sagt Mama.

   "We can go slowly at first," says Mom.

9. Sie nehmen ein großes Kissen als Taxi, und Mama zieht Paul leise über die Straße.

   They take a big pillow as a taxi, and Mama quietly pulls Paul across the street.

10. Hinter dem Sofa finden sie das Auto doch, fahren zum "Flughafen", kuscheln dort, und Paul schläft friedlich ein.

    They do find the car behind the sofa, drive to the 'airport', cuddle there, and Paul falls asleep peacefully.
