Lena und die leise Klingel

1. Es ist Abend im Wohnzimmer.

   It's evening in the living room.

2. Mama kommt herein, und Lena sagt: "Hallo, Mama."

   Mom comes in, and Lena says, 'Hello, Mom.'

3. Sie hat ein Buch und Kakao.

   She has a book and hot chocolate.

4. Lena sitzt ruhig auf dem Stuhl.

   Lena sits quietly on the chair.

5. Neben dem Fenster steht ihr rotes Fahrrad.

   Her red bike is next to the window.

6. Lena berührt das Rad, und die Klingel macht "kling!".

   Lena touches the wheel, and the bell goes "ding!".

7. Mama sagt lachend: "Stopp, kleine Klingel."

   Mom says laughing, 'Stop, little bell.'

8. Sie stellt das Fahrrad leise neben das Regal.

   She puts the bike quietly next to the shelf.

9. "Setz dich wieder bequem," sagt Mama, "und lies ruhig."

   "Sit comfortably again," says Mom, "and read quietly."

10. Lena nickt und liest, sie ist jetzt ganz still.

    Lena nods and reads; she is very quiet now.

11. Ihre Augen werden müde, und bald schläft sie auf dem Stuhl ein.

    Her eyes get tired, and soon she falls asleep in the chair.
