Hannas Familienbaum im Wohnzimmer

1. Es ist Abend im Wohnzimmer bei Hanna.

   It's evening in Hanna's living room.

2. Hanna sitzt mit Mama und Opa Karl auf dem Sofa.

   Hanna sits on the sofa with Mom and Grandpa Karl.

3. Es gibt viele Fotos auf dem Tisch.

   There are many photos on the table.

4. Hanna hat eine Idee: ein kleiner Familienbaum.

   Hanna has an idea: a small family tree.

5. Sie malt Kästchen und Linien für Mama, Opa und unsere Tante Mia.

   She draws little boxes and lines for Mama, Grandpa and our aunt Mia.

6. Doch bei Cousin Leo weiß Hanna nicht, wohin sein Name soll.

   But with cousin Leo, Hanna doesn't know where his name should go.

7. Opa Karl lächelt und sagt: "Leo ist der Sohn von Mia und Tom; er ist dein Cousin."

   Grandpa Karl smiles and says, "Leo is the son of Mia and Tom; he is your cousin."

8. Mama zeigt neben Mias Kästchen und sagt: "Hier passt der Name gut."

   Mom points next to Mia's little box and says, "The name fits well here."

9. Hanna nickt und schreibt "Leo" an diese Stelle.

   Hanna nods and writes Leo in that spot.

10. Am Ende sind alle Namen da, und Hanna fühlt sich ruhig und froh.

    At the end all the names are there, and Hanna feels calm and happy.

11. Sie stellt den Familienbaum auf den Tisch und hält Mamas Hand.

    She puts the family tree on the table and holds Mom's hand.

12. Hanna kuschelt sich unter die Decke auf dem Sofa und schließt die Augen.

    Hanna snuggles under the blanket on the sofa and closes her eyes.
