Tarjetas de respuesta en la noche

1. Es de noche en la mesa de la cocina.

   It's night at the kitchen table.

2. Emma es curiosa, y su mamá Ana está con ella.

   Emma is curious, and her mom Ana is with her.

3. Ellas tienen tarjetas con palabras en inglés.

   They have cards with words in English.

4. Emma quiere practicar para mañana, pero se confunde un poco.

   Emma wants to practice for tomorrow, but she gets a little confused.

5. Ana propone un juego sencillo: yo hago algo, y tú dices la tarjeta.

   Ana suggests a simple game: I do something, and you say the card.

6. Emma toma una tarjeta y dice con voz bajita: "okay".

   Emma takes a card and says in a small voice, "okay."

7. Ana da una palmada suave para empezar, y Emma levanta: "now".

   Ana gives a soft clap to start, and Emma raises her hand: "now."

8. Ana levanta el pulgar para una respuesta correcta, y Emma dice: "right".

   Ana gives a thumbs up for a correct answer, and Emma says, "right."

9. Luego Ana pregunta con una sonrisa: "¿Te gusta?", y Emma muestra: "yes".

   Then Ana asks with a smile, "Do you like it?", and Emma shows: "yes".

10. Para ser amable, Emma practica también y susurra "excuse" al rozar la mesa.

    To be polite, Emma practices too and whispers "excuse" when she brushes the table.

11. Emma ríe y dice que ahora todo le parece easy.

    Emma laughs and says that now everything seems easy to her.

12. Ana la abraza, dice que todo está muy bien, y Emma se siente lista para dormir.

    Ana hugs her, says everything is fine, and Emma feels ready to sleep.
