View translation pageDe kaart in de keuken
It's evening in the kitchen.
Emma makes a sweet card for Mom at the table.
Emma zegt: "Ik heb plakband nodig."
Emma says, "I need tape."
She says, "I'm going to the drawer for some paper and a pair of scissors."
But the scissors are gone, and Emma asks, "Why is glue so sticky?"
Mama Noor smiles and gives Emma the tape, and Papa Tom points to where the scissors are.
"Now I see the scissors," Emma says happily.
She cuts and glues calmly, and the card looks nice.
Emma draws a star and writes, "For Mom."
Dad Tom nods, and Emma gives the card to Mom for a hug.
They tidy up together, and it's quiet again in the kitchen.
