Kleine Bitten vor dem Schlafen

1. Es ist Abend im Kinderzimmer von Jonas.

   It's evening in Jonas's bedroom.

2. "Ich bin müde", sagt Jonas.

   "I'm tired," says Jonas.

3. Er sucht sein Buch für die Gute-Nacht-Geschichte.

   He looks for his book for the bedtime story.

4. Anna kommt leise herein und holt das Buch aus dem Regal.

   Anna comes in quietly and takes the book from the shelf.

5. "Mach das Licht an, bitte", sagt Anna.

   "Turn on the light, please," says Anna.

6. "Bitte, setz dich neben mich", sagt Jonas.

   "Please sit next to me," says Jonas.

7. Jetzt merkt Jonas: Sein Bär fehlt.

   Now Jonas notices his bear is missing.

8. Jonas hat einen kleinen Bären, und ohne ihn liest er nicht gern.

   Jonas has a small teddy bear, and he does not like to read without it.

9. "Schau unter die Decke", sagt Anna.

   "Look under the blanket," Anna says.

10. Jonas hebt die Decke und findet den Bären, und er lächelt.

    Jonas lifts the blanket and finds the bear, and he smiles.

11. Sie kuscheln sich ins Bett, Anna liest, und Jonas hört zu.

    They snuggle into bed, Anna reads, and Jonas listens.

12. "Sag Gute Nacht und schließ die Augen", flüstert Anna.

    "Say good night and close your eyes," Anna whispers.
