   We are having dinner at seven this evening. The chef is preparing a special meal for our guests.

   We eten vanavond om zeven uur. De kok bereidt een speciale maaltijd voor onze gasten.

2. Jenny
   He is cooking the main course very quickly. The kitchen smells absolutely delicious right now.

   Hij maakt het hoofdgerecht heel snel klaar. De keuken ruikt nu heerlijk.

3. Mark
   I have been told that he is also making dessert from scratch. Apparently it is a chocolate cake with cream.

   Mij is verteld dat hij het toetje helemaal zelf maakt. Blijkbaar is het een chocoladetaart met slagroom.

4. Jenny
   That sounds wonderful. They are having a picnic tomorrow afternoon in the garden too.

   Dat klinkt heerlijk. Ze hebben morgenmiddag ook een picknick in de tuin.

5. Mark
   If the weather stays warm, it will be the perfect day for outdoor dining. I might bring some fruit and cheese.

   Als het weer warm blijft, wordt het de perfecte dag om buiten te eten. Misschien neem ik wat fruit en kaas mee.

6. Jenny
   Good idea. The bread from the bakery downstairs is also fantastic for picnics.

   Goed idee. Het brood van de bakkerij beneden is ook fantastisch voor picknicks.

7. Mark
   I will buy fresh bread tomorrow morning. The baker said he has new recipes for the spring season.

   Ik koop morgenochtend vers brood. De bakker zei dat hij nieuwe recepten heeft voor het voorjaar.

   I have been thinking about cooking something myself this weekend. Maybe a simple chicken dish.

   Ik denk eraan dit weekend zelf iets te koken. Misschien een eenvoudig kipgerecht.

   Brilliant. If you need ingredients, I can help you choose them at the market.

   Geweldig. Als je ingrediënten nodig hebt, kan ik je helpen ze op de markt te kiezen.

10. Jenny
    Thank you. I want everything to be fresh and natural. No preservatives or processed food.

    Dank je. Ik wil dat alles vers en natuurlijk is. Geen conserveermiddelen of bewerkt voedsel.

11. Mark
    That is the right approach. Good food is the basis of any successful dinner party.

    Dat is de juiste aanpak. Goed eten is de basis van elk geslaagd diner.

    Agreed. Let us plan the menu together over coffee.

    Akkoord. Laten we het menu samen bij een kop koffie plannen.
