I will call the operator tomorrow to confirm our booking. They have been very helpful all week.

Smart. Train schedules can change without warning, especially during the busy season.

True. I have always preferred rail travel to flying. The scenery is so much more enjoyable.

Same here. Even when the journey is long, watching the countryside pass by is relaxing.

Have you ever tried the new high-speed train? It reaches the capital city in two hours.

Not yet. The fare is quite expensive, but the comfort apparently makes it worthwhile.

I might book a ticket next month. There is a conference downtown that I want to attend.

Brilliant. If I have time, I might join you. We could explore the city centre together afterwards.

That would be wonderful. The museum near the main station is absolutely worth visiting.
