1. Mark
   The journalist said that the article was published yesterday. Have you had time to read it?

   قال الصحفي إن المقال نُشر أمس. هل سنحت لك الفرصة لقراءته؟

2. Jenny
   Not yet. The architect who designed this building is famous, so I imagine the piece focused on his work.

   ليس بعد. المعماري الذي صمم هذا المبنى مشهور، لذا أتوقع أن المقال ركز على عمله.

3. Mark
   Yes, exactly. She said her sister is a famous novelist too. Their family is incredibly creative.

   نعم، بالضبط. قالت إن أختها روائية مشهورة أيضاً. عائلتهم مبدعة جداً.

4. Jenny
   That is fantastic. I have been thinking about becoming a writer myself. My professor said my essays show promise.

5. Mark
   You should pursue it. The publisher in town is looking for new authors. They prefer original voices.

   If I sent them my work, they might consider it. The novelist who lives next door said she would write me a reference.

   إذا أرسلت لهم عملي، فقد ينظرون فيه. الروائية التي تسكن بجوارنا قالت إنها ستكتب لي توصية.

7. Mark
   Brilliant. Have you ever met the photographer who works with her? His pictures are beautiful.

   رائع. هل قابلت المصوّر الذي يعمل معها من قبل؟ صوره جميلة.

   Once at an exhibition. He told me he started taking photographs when he was just twelve years old.

   مرة في معرض. قال لي إنه بدأ التصوير عندما كان في الثانية عشرة فقط.

   Photography is such a wonderful art. I love how a single image can tell a complete story.

   التصوير فن رائع. أحب كيف يمكن لصورة واحدة أن تروي قصة كاملة.

10. Jenny
    True. The film director who made that documentary said the same thing about cinema.

    صحيح. مخرج ذلك الفيلم الوثائقي قال نفس الشيء عن السينما.

11. Mark
    I watched that documentary last week. The reporter who interviewed him asked excellent questions.

    شاهدت ذلك الفيلم الوثائقي الأسبوع الماضي. المراسل الذي أجرى معه المقابلة طرح أسئلة ممتازة.

12. Jenny
    Yes, I might watch it again this weekend. Good media work always rewards a second viewing.
