   I know! I need a warm wool sweater in the morning.

   Vorig najaar hadden we een grote storm bij de rivier.

   Last autumn we had a big storm by the river.

   Dat herinner ik me. Veel bladeren vielen in één nacht uit de bomen.

   I remember that. Many leaves fell from the trees in one night.

   Heb je de verwarming in je kamer aangezet?

   Did you turn on the heating in your room?

6. Anna
   Ja, dat heb ik. De koude lucht komt door het raam naar binnen.

   Yes, I have it. The cold air comes in through the window.

   We moeten snel onze wintervakantie plannen. Misschien de bergen?

   We should plan our winter vacation soon. Maybe the mountains?

8. Anna
   Goed idee. Ik wil dit jaar de familieskirace winnen!

   Good idea. I want to win the family ski race this year!

9. Lars
   Je gaat zeker winnen. Jij bent de beste skiër in onze groep.

   You will definitely win. You are the best skier in our group.

10. Anna
    Bedankt. Koud weer is mijn favoriete seizoen.

    Thanks. Cold weather is my favorite season.
