Tips

  • After 'que', use a normal sentence structure (subject + verb).
  • Do not use the subjunctive after 'je pense que' or 'je crois que' in affirmative sentences.
  • Remember to use 'que' after 'je pense', 'je crois', and 'je trouve'.

Exceptions and edge cases

  • If you use 'je ne pense pas que' or 'je ne crois pas que' (negative), you often need the subjunctive.
