Mias T‑Shirt am Marktplatz

1. Mia ist heute mit Papa Ben auf dem Marktplatz.

   Mia is at the market today with Dad Ben.

2. Es gibt bunte Stände, und über dem Platz hängt ein Banner mit dem Wort market.

   There are colorful stalls, and a banner with the word market hangs over the square.

3. Am Rand steht ein altes Haus mit einem Schild store, und daneben zeigt ein kleines Schild shop.

   At the edge there is an old house with a sign that says 'store', and next to it a small sign says 'shop'.

4. Mia geht mit Papa zu einem Stand mit Kleidern.

   Mia goes with Dad to a stall with clothes.

5. Sie hat einen Wunsch: ein blaues t-shirt mit dem Wort music.

   She has a wish: a blue T-shirt with the word 'music'.

6. Das Shirt sieht weich aus und passt zu ihrem Lächeln.

   The shirt looks soft and goes with her smile.

7. Aber das Shirt hängt hoch, und Mia kann es nicht erreichen.

   But the shirt is hanging high, and Mia can't reach it.

8. Sie sagt zu der Verkäuferin Anna: "Können Sie bitte helfen?"

9. Anna lächelt, nimmt das Shirt herunter und gibt es Mia.

    Mia puts it on, and it fits just right.

11. Mia hat Durst, und auf dem Tisch steht eine kleine Flasche mit dem Wort water.

    Mia is thirsty, and on the table there is a small bottle with the word 'water' on it.

12. Papa nickt, Mia trinkt einen Schluck, und sie gehen Hand in Hand langsam über den Platz nach Hause.

    Papa nods, Mia takes a sip, and they walk hand in hand slowly across the square toward home.
