Max’s Cozy Corner

It is evening in Max's apartment.

ম্যাক্সের অ্যাপার্টমেন্টে সন্ধ্যার সময়।
Max wants to make a cozy place to read before bed.

ম্যাক্স ঘুমানোর আগে পড়ার জন্য আরামদায়ক একটি জায়গা বানাতে চায়।
The living-room is his favorite room.

লিভিং রুমটা তার প্রিয় ঘর।
He looks for his little book, but he cannot find it.

সে তার ছোট বইটা খুঁজছে, কিন্তু তা পাচ্ছে না।
Dad points and says, "There is a bookcase next to the window."

বাবা ইঙ্গিত করে বলেন, "জানালার পাশে একটি বইয়ের আলমারি আছে।"
Max checks the shelves, but the book is not there.

ম্যাক্স তাকাগুলো চেক করে, কিন্তু বইটা সেখানে নেই।
Mom says, "Check your bedroom too."

Max walks to the bedroom and opens the curtains.

Outside the glass, he sees the quiet street and a green tree.

He does not see the book in the bedroom, so he goes back to the sofa.

সে শয়নকক্ষে বইটা দেখতে পায় না, তাই সে সোফায় ফিরে যায়।
"We look again, slowly," Mom says.

আমরা আবার ধীরে ধীরে দেখি, মা বলে।
Dad lifts a pillow, and Max sees a corner of paper under it.

বাবা বালিশ তুলে, ম্যাক্স তার নীচে কাগজের একটি কোণা দেখে।
"This is my book!" Max says with a smile.

এটাই আমার বই! ম্যাক্স হেসে বলে।
They sit together on the rug, and the lamp is warm and soft.

Max opens the book, and they read a short story.

ম্যাক্স বইটা খুলে, আর তারা একটি ছোট গল্প পড়ে।
After the story, Max puts the book back on the bookcase and says goodnight.

গল্পের পরে ম্যাক্স বইটা আবার বইয়ের তাকেতে রাখে এবং 'শুভ রাত্রি' বলে।
The home is calm, and Max feels ready to sleep.

বাড়িটা শান্ত, আর ম্যাক্স ঘুমানোর জন্য প্রস্তুত মনে করে।
