   Winter is coming and the weather is already very cold.

   I know! I need a warm wool sweater for the morning.

   আমি জানি! সকালে আমার একটি উষ্ণ উলের সোয়েটার দরকার।

   Last autumn we had a big storm near the river.

   গত শরতে নদীর কাছে বড় একটা ঝড় হয়েছিল।

   I remember. Many leaves fell from the trees in one night.

   আমার মনে আছে। এক রাতে গাছ থেকে অনেক পাতা ঝরে পড়েছিল।

   Did you turn on the heating in your room?

   তুমি কি তোমার ঘরের হিটার চালু করেছিলে?

   Yes, I did. The cold air comes through the window.

   হ্যাঁ, করেছি। ঠাণ্ডা বাতাস জানালা দিয়ে ভেতরে আসে।

   We should plan our winter holidays soon. Maybe the mountains?

   আমাদের শীতের ছুটি শিগগিরই পরিকল্পনা করা উচিত। হয়তো পাহাড়ে যাই?

8. Jenny
   Good idea. I want to win the family ski race this year!

   ভালো আইডিয়া। আমি এই বছর পরিবারের স্কি রেস জিততে চাই!

9. Mark
   You will win for sure. You are the best skier in our group.

   আপনি নিশ্চিতভাবেই জিতবেন। আপনি আমাদের দলে সেরা স্কিয়ার।

10. Jenny
    Thank you. Cold weather is my favourite season.

    ধন্যবাদ। শীত আমার প্রিয় ঋতু।
